The Sumarpo RACE Wetsuit is made of neoprene and features sleeves provides greater buoyancy in the legs, reduced drag in the water thanks to Yamamoto’s SCS coating, and excellent flexibility in the shoulders and arms due to the SQ-flex lining and Yamamoto #39 neoprene, optimizing performance during the race.
The Sumarpo Race is made with premium Yamamoto neoprene, derived from limestone — an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based materials. This neoprene is hypoallergenic and healthier for users.
Benzene-free adhesive: The Race model uses benzene-free adhesives, which are more environmentally friendly than oil-based or benzene-containing adhesives.
Recycled inner fabrics: Sumarpo’s recycled inner fabrics comply with one of the technical standards of the Oeko-Tex label.
The Yamamoto SCS coating covers the entirety of the wetsuit. The coating is a smooth finish which reduces water resistance and improves hydrodynamic properties. Swimmers can go faster with the same effort level.
The 3D GSP (Groove-shaped paddle) system on the forearms provides extra propulsion with every stroke.
The V-shape Ankle Panel design is made of 1.5mm of Yamamoto #39 neoprene. It ensures a faster and effortless T1 during races and training.
