A swim adventure through the natural and human history of the stunning Zêzere river, the place chosen for another edition of Rio Silvestre, our Christmas swim.
 
Ilha do Lombo was once a renowned hotel in the municipality of Tomar, which was so well known for the boat crossings that guests had to take to reach the islet. Today it is used for private use and we will go swimming to contemplate it.

This half-day tour takes you around 2.5 km of swimming, on a route marked by the harmony between the mountain and the river, a journey through the region's unique wildlife, history and traditions.
